The Feminine Grand Lodge of Belgium (GLFB) and the Grand Lodge of Belgium (GLB) have decided to support the creation of a new mixed obedience. The process was launched on February 27, 2010 at the time of the Assembly of the Grand Lodge of the GLB. The document coming from the GLB, received by La Lumiere [the first page is reproduced at the link above] seems to be a progress report. It is understood that this new obedience will accommodate sisters of the GLFB and brothers of the GLB.
There is a kinship to French projects. Ten years ago, Alain Bauer, Grand Master of the Grand Orient of France (GODF) cherished the idea of creating a federation of three obediences, female, mixed and male. Pierre Lambicchi seemed to dream of gathering into the same federation the Feminine Grand Lodge of France (GLFF), the Droit Humain (DH) and the GODF. Two aborted projects. Finally, in its Convent of September 2010, the GODF granted to its lodges the freedom to initiate women .... after tough debates.
