I have been a recent poster to the website but find that some of the people who post in it have some irrational fear/hatred of Freemasonry. One poster who calls himself Luciferhorus is convicted that freemasons are part of the capitalist conspiracy to run the World, cheat the working classes and make a mockery of the Christian religion. He says that Jesus was an anti Capitalist propertyst.

LH says that his father aka The Devil is a militant Capitalist and Freemason. I wonder if he is just having fun or really believes that his father is the Devil.

Hi Gerard,

To be honest we don't encourage discussion of conspiracy/ anti-Masonic sites (inc. Icke's Forum) here as it just gives oxygen to such a tiny minority of people with some strange ideas. Some of us are members over there though, as a couple of years ago some of them tried to invade this forum in order to create trouble which necessitated some discussion with them.

It is unfortunate that there are some people who are not able to see the good that we as Freemasons do in the community. For these people nothing will change their minds. There are many people who have 'open minds' and they may in time see Freemasonry as being a society that benefits society and may petition to join.

They say visiting is the life blood of Freemasonry; I say getting people to join is; providing that they are suitable candidates for membership.
