I was led to believe that the knights templar wasn't associated with the freemasons, i know that this may seem a bit silly but if that is correct, then why do the masonic shops sell products with k.t symbols on them?

I do try to disregard things that you see in films e.t.c and as i am not a mason at the moment a lot if the information i read could be more embellished, i do try take things with a pinch of salt.

But as already said confused what is what. If there is an association could this be explained to me please but if there is no association then why are these products sold? If there is no association and the official masonic shops are selling these products then doesn't this give out the impression that the films, books e.t.c may be right?

Could i please get some clarity on this please.
