Following on from my earlier comments about the work the Grand Charity does for us, here are the last quarter's Masonic Relief Grant figures:Between September 2008 and November 2008, 549 Masonic Relief Grants were made to support individual Masons and their dependants experiencing financial hardship or requiring mobility equipment.
In total, over £1 million (£1,085,635) was approved for payments to assist the beneficiaries.
These are the grants made by the Grand Charity to Freemasons and their dependents who have fallen on hard times often through ill-health.
