I thought that this would interst some of the folks here and I would welcome comments of similar journeys if you have them

An Irishman exiled as I am in Aberdeen for the duration of my University Studies and indeed possibly for my vocation after ordination. Anywho, I come from a long line of Irish Freemasons in the Irish constitution but when I came of mature age I petitioned Lodge Operative 150 , Aberdeen City for membership. It was with 150 that I achieved the degrees of EA and FC. My master Mason's Degree was conducted by a visiting Lodge-

37 St John Operative Forres (Forres is in Morayshire, quite futher North in Scotland than Aberdeen City)

After the Summer break I ended up moving north to Peterhead and have built up a friendship with Lodge Kieth 56, to my delight I will be doingthe Mark degree on Monday, but this just aint any old Mark Degree, it is to be conducted by Lodge St Andrew 518, in the local dialect of Doric.

This is my journey thus far in the Craft (I have also filled out a form to join Keith Royal Arch Chapter)

Has anyone else here had a similar expierence within the craft?
