Again I feel that either this thread is a joke, or there is an ulterior motive in posing the question. I have no problem giving an honest answer in accordance with my knowledge and abilities to any question asked of me about Freemasonry as I know and have experienced itfor 21 years nowbut I really do not do wind-ups.[/quote]

Steve,

You can be forgiven for thinking this is a joke. I'm not the most serious of people, I grant you and sometimes I do place the odd post to yank the odd chain. But not this time. Ulterior motive? Wellllll sort of.

I am a loyal member of UGLE. I took obligations etc etc and feel 99% comfortable with the set-up. However, I may have mentioned it before, but I really do feel that UGLE SHOULD admit females. I'm certain that my feelings will bethe exact opposite of many UGLE Masons but I believe that all things should evolve. Things that don't evolve tend to die out sooner or later. I'm not even sure UGLE is acting within the law by banning females.

I love the philosophy of YOUR order Steve but of course you know as well as I do that UGLE would not allow me to join. As it happens anyway the geography is not conducive to my joining, but if it were more local and UGLE were in agreement, I'd join.

I hope this allays your obvious concern over my post.
