Wasen't the world supposed to end last year when that partical accellorator was switched on in Switzerland??
:Whistling:

I don't think it's working yet is it?

Anyway, that might just destroy a couple of parallel universes ;)

Never mind! Dr Who will save us!! ;)

Anyone remember back in 1999. There was a made TV film of the world comming to the end at the stroke of midnight (NY time). Yes and Dr. Who saved the world!

Made in the UK and US, it was on one of the networks here.

So this week on TV, they've started advertising a film about Armageddon - its title? 2012:D

Considering the wretched machine broke, and they have arrested one of the scientists working on it for being in Al Qaida, we might have been closer than you think.

Was the world not supposed to end a couple of months ago.  I remember listening to it on the radio on my way to work and thought, this should be an interesting day and hopefully a bit shorter....:D

Computer programmers did not think that the World was going to end in on 01.01.2000.

But it didn't stop us having to run endless tests throughout 1999 to prove to the business that The End Was Not Nigh.

And being on call overnight on Millenium Eve at nigh on Investment Banker's rates.....

In your dreams....:crying: (Did watch Armageddon while we waited though :D )

Hi Tom,

The Doctor will always save the earth!:D

But his brother The Master will always try to destroy it, I thought Eric Roberts did well in that film. Miss Roger Delgado and Anthony Ainley though
