The amusing thing is the whole Icke lot believe it will occur as we pass through the "Galactic Centre" - as my physicist / astronomer friend has pointed out there is no way in hell people could predict that down to a day.  Absolute tosh in my opinion! :hehe:

Hmm, in a 2007 article, Sandra Noble, executive director of the Mesoamerican research organization FAMSI, notes that "[f]or the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle". However, she considers the portrayal of December 2012 as a doomsday or cosmic-shift event to be "a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in."

Hang on, you're not taking this seriously! Did the Ancient Mayans have GMT?

I just realised that if this is all true, I am never going to go through the chair of my lodge.

Strength of manhood and beauty of spirit need combination. Masonry thus needs strength with gracefulness, stability with courtesy, and firmness with gentleness.
