I have recently read 'The Davinci Code' and am now on to 'The Lost Symbol'.In the former a few mentions were made of Freemasonry, with a lot of hints towards it without its mention by name. It is in this book that we can see where some avid antis get their ideas, there being a lot of sentances being amazingly familiar to anyone browsing the D.I. Forum.
The latter I am about a quarter through, and starting to get the impression Brown is attempting to right some wrongs with Langdons/His repeated assertions that Freemasonry is OK really etc.
I have to say I am enjoying his work, he has hit on a winning formula, however, I can see it for what it is.......Fiction. Sadly there are those who think every word is true, and then others who have the ability to immerse themselves so deeply into a book or TV program they begin to believe its true.
Overall I am glad I read his books, but happier still to be capable of separating fact from fiction.
