Greetings Annubis,

Nick Appleton posted some good points on a thread about this
UGLE have very clear guidelines which you can request by email. Once completed you let UGLE have the link, they have a look and generally respond within a few days. In our case there was one tweak needed other than that all was fine. Province were similarly supportive and approving. The guidelines are common sense - no adverts, no summons, no names of candidates, permission to use photo of lodge members etc - there are also some standard statements they like you to use if you link to another website.
It would be worth you looking at the comments on that thread - Mike also made some interesting points.

It was at Post #2196  & Post #2207

Vintagemalt,
Thanks for the comments, they are much appreciated.
I am well aware of the UGLE guidelines on websites (and have the PDF if anyone wants it)
I have even left the space blank for their charter mark, and I already have my own lodge website registered and online.
The whole point of this post was:
1. Shameful promotion of a local lodge
2. To get any feedback on the website
3. To point out any glaring errors I have overlooked, e.g dead links, bad spelling. etc.

PS.The Lodge members area will be a secure password protected area.

Thanks for the comments, Ich spreche kein Deutsch!

The 'pale' colour was my attempt to get a Masonic Craft Blue theme using the standard palette available. It will remain pale as long as the lodge is happy with that theme.

Please note I have created it on behalf of a local lodge to get them online, so all mistakes so far are mine and mine alone!
