For me, it is a combination of more of the same coupled with a few new things
The old - another year as Treasurer in Craft, going up to Prin Soj in Chapter in March, I've just gone into the Chair in Royal Ark Mariners and become MO in Mark - both lodges have full programmes of candidates for the coming year (we look like we'll even give my successor a waiting list in RAM at the end of the year)
Currently Steward (or its equivalent) in Rose Croix, SRIA and Secret Monitor
The new - Masonic Order of Athelstan on 10 January when we consecrate a new Court in Caerphilly, KT in February and R&SM in March
All in all a full year for me masonically!
What about the rest of you?

Unemployed as i am the IPM in the blues and not ready to take office in the reds, so looks like its a year of standing still and watching from the sidelines. Also i have that new sign to master, you know the one, hands clasped together accompanied by a loud sigh and a tut, and then the words it wasn't done like that in my day.;)

Having got rid of lots of offices when I moved, I am now accumulating again!
Should be going into Operatives next week, though the summons hasn't arrived yet. This would have happened a couple of years ago but was put on hold because of my move back to Kent.
I shall be the first Secretary of the new Court of King Ethelbert, Order of Athelstan, to be consecrated at Canterbury in April. I've also agreed to take on Scribe of RAM in the autumn. In OSM I shall probably as usual end up doing several jobs at once. I am Herald in RCC and will no doubt be kept busy in other Orders.
The 'biggy' should come on 1st December when, assuming things work out according to plan, I shall be installed as WM of my Mother Lodge a mere 37 years and 4 months after my initiation and 32 years 9 months after my first Chair.
Looks like a busy year.:)

This will be my first full year in FM, so it's all a bit new. In March I have to deliver "Reasons for Preparation" at an Initiation. I read it with some trepidation after the WM asked me to learn it, but after a few minutes a day, it's coming together gradually.
Presumably if I manage the Reasons without falling over, I might get asked to learn something for the candidate's Passing and Raising.
I'm continuing as an assistant at our GL Library and as a member of the GL Archives Committee, and I'm hoping to join our Lodge of Research.

Greetings,Well what does 2009 hold for me in Freemasonry. First & foremost its my raising on March 6th - thats a big deal! I am a Steward in the Lodge this year - thats a time of learning and preparation. I am Chairman of the Social Committee in my Lodge - Thats difficult - arranging six or so social events to suit all tastes and pockets! Also arranging the Ladies Festival Night next June. Seven meetings in my Lodge, Ten LOI meetings, and probably about 7 or 8 visits to other Lodges in the Hampshire area. Then next November 9th I have been invited to join a Mark Lodge. That should all keep me busy for my 2nd year in Masonry. Vintagemalt

As I've said elsewhere: I'm slamming the breaks on and fully intend not to take any further degrees nor take on further administrative / governance responsibilities this year.
I am about to undertake a second year as Secretary and WJW of my craft Triangle and have just been invested as SD to my motherlodge, where I will also continue my service as Secretary. In my Mark Lodge I hope to be able sit in the columns this year, but we'll see what comes my way.
In terms of administration and masonic governance I will be actively looking for potential successors this year, so that I may train them during the following year to take over at the end of my 3-year term (November 2010 here I come! :D).
All in all the general idea is to stand back and let others take the lead, so that I may spend more time on my masonic research.
(One can but dream, no?:Whistling:)

WSW and Treasurer of one Craft Lodge, DC and Secretary of another, a couple of Admin involvements. If time and circumstance allow this year to be a joining member of a Mark Lodge, RAM and RA Chapter, having been in those Orders when in UGLE, already being in KTs, Rose Croix and ROS in LDH. Time is my biggest problem as I work in a small but important support section of only 4 people and thus cannot always get the time off for weekday meetings although Saturdays are usually ok.
