My advice is to buy it from the charity shop. Save money, recycle and serve a good cause!

Strength of manhood and beauty of spirit need combination. Masonry thus needs strength with gracefulness, stability with courtesy, and firmness with gentleness.

Hey, I finished it yesterday.

As far as I'm concerned, we're the good guys - slightly mystical, very powerful - but still, the last 30-odd pages should actually be re-published by the UGLE as "What Deist Masons Really Believe In" :)

That's not a bad idea. Then I can rip the pages out and hang them on a hook in the dunny. Is the paper of sufficient poor quality that it will flush without blocking the drains?

I'll buy it at the weekend, read it then give my opinion. Until then I will reserve my judgement and make up my own mind when I have had a chance to read it for myself.

Meh, beat me to posting that one from the BBC news website, it's an interesting article if a little wishy washy on the architecture in Washington DC. Also I disagree with Mr Short on the 3rd degree being a resurrection ritual. At no point is anyone brought back to life from death.

Still it's mostly positive and could be of interest to people!

I thought it was surprisingly positive for Mr Short

I only beat you to it because one of my colleagues drew it to my attention

I agree it was very positive for Mr Short, I was expecting him to agree with the whole blood drinking ritual nonsense and spout something about Freemasons eating babies and being cruel to poor fluffy kittens.

I believe Asda and tesco are competing on price, heard it reported as being the princely sum of a fiver in chav-da

The beeb magazine article wasn't bad, tho the style meant that the content suffered
