Our third match of the season (back to back to back) has been cancelled, due to weather.

This has caused stress and a rift in our Club, our coach nearly died of a medical screw up by his physician a day ago and several backs (mostly back 3 players and one Lock) walked out of practice last night because they didn't like the coaches drills that day.

Give us a break in the name of t..mo..h...

I think it is time to inquiry to my LRU and Nigel Melville about the state of USA Rugby Union, particularly Texas.

My point is I think the whole argument, "the field/pitch is too wet, or there is too much snow on the ground" defense is getting old, or "you are going to tear up the field" is getting old. Rugby should be played rain, snow, and obviously shine. If the weather is extreme well that would make sense to cancel the games. Weather is not always going to be favorable and the pitch perfect after a game. The game must go on so we do not have to play catch up games.

To our Bro From the USA, I watched yesterdays 7's Game USA V Kenya, with interest - always waiting for the moment the USA burst onto the Rugby scene with the talent they are capable of.
The result Kenya 24 United States 7 -
Don't feel too bad - your boys were up against enormous athletic guys from Kenya -
Give the size differential the USA put up a credible defense -
Here is a Picture of some of your fans....
Good Looking Girls you send over
Cheers

Stu, you need to check on the exchange rate! the NZ Dollar is worth about 44 pence. $40.000 isn't very much although the impression I get is that what you would buy a house for in GBPounds, we would spend a similar number of dollars. Our prices don't always equate

Mind you, our building standards are very much different from yours, we are the Shaky Isles after all and cavity brick load bearing walls wouldn't cut it here, we go more for timber framed houses.

I didn't see the Ireland V Italy game but ths score says it all I feel.

Watched England V Wales on TV in a pub. The Taffs made a comeback in the second half but just didn't have the power and did suffer from the sin-bining of Wyn Jones earlier on. I await the Scotland V France game today with interest.
