Let me know if you ever find yourself in Western Australia - there are Lodge meetings on almost every evening of the week, and I'll try and arrange something for you.

Mark, what year/month did you visit can you remember? my initiation was nov 06 so if it was before then i wouldnt know! but certainly as far as im aware we dont have a TV chef there now lol, though I think we ARE a friendly lodge! although I would need anothers outside view on that...Lew?! lol

!

Hi James: I have just trawled through my memory, and it would have been in Autumn 2004, so before you were initiated. A friend of mine has a flat he let me stay in for a few days, it's situated on the cliff tops further out of the town than 'Bleak House'. I had a great time, the folk are very friendly and the pubs suitably well stocked (had a nice meal upstairs in the Tartar Frigate, as I recall.)

I also spent Christmas there in 2004-sunny skies and bracing walks. Lovely place.

Cheers

Mark

We have Day Lodges as well and they meet in the morning. We also have a Breakfast Lodge that meets up at some ungodly hour before office hours.
