Whilst I know they're not everyone's cup of tea I though I'd share with my brethren the early stages of my masonic themed tattoo which I'm getting primarily because I like tattoo art and Freemasonry has lots of art and symbolism that lends itself to tattooing and also to celebrate my becoming Master of my Lodge. The picture was taken after my first of four two-hour sittings.

I'm sure I've seen the thing at the top in an aquatic nature program....I think it was eating a D.I. C.Tist.......

That is fantastic Fire Mist, I might have to be getting me one of them (without the G). There was somebody at the Raby Gala who had the finished tattoo of the sort of thing that you are heading towards Baines and it was very impressive, was too busy mashing ice to get a proper look though.

Ok, so I've now had my second sitting. The pillars are really taking shape now and in two weeks time work starts on the All Seeing Eye.

Here is my own tattoo based on the one posted earlier, I had this done a while ago now because as soon as I saw it online I knew I wanted it.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know and the picture isn't that great (have you tried photographing your own upper arm?) but you get the idea (I like the 'G' so kept it in the design).
