Hallo, sailor! Time to tie up your little boat and swallow the anchor for a while. ("Come in No 7279, your time's up.") It's a shame that friends of mine are just embarking on the "Oregano" for a spicy cruise to Madeira - I was hoping they would meet you.

March will be your 2nd (Prince's) degree in OSM, James. Read up in your yellow book for the opening before then, as you could well end up with an office to fill! You'll certainly have one by the end of the meeting......:)

cheers guys its good to be back!
Staffs, im afraid i would love a vist, but im only home for a week then off to sunny blackpool for 7 months (lodge nights not included!) as im heading off to do my Chief Mates qualification so will have to postpone the visit, though i will certainly take you up on the offer in the future!
Mark, what year/month did you visit can you remember? my initiation was nov 06 so if it was before then i wouldnt know! but certainly as far as im aware we dont have a TV chef there now lol, though I think we ARE a friendly lodge! although I would need anothers outside view on that...Lew?! lol
Lew, right, learn the openings as i will have an office....ah! right! erm...ok! lol, now its excitment and a little trepidation ;)
oh well speak soon all!

Let me know if you ever find yourself in Western Australia - there are Lodge meetings on almost every evening of the week, and I'll try and arrange something for you.

cheers bro,
the only problem is that generally we sail at about 5:00 or 6:00 pm so i dont get to many meetings! if there was a lunch time meeting it could be arranged but otherwise no go im afraid :(

We have Day Lodges as well and they meet in the morning. We also have a Breakfast Lodge that meets up at some ungodly hour before office hours.
